Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) as well as other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Her field of study was political sciences at Villanova University. Bello studied acting in New York and continued to improve her skills after graduation. Bello has a son Jackson with her ex-boyfriend Dan McDermott. [18] Bello wrote in November of 2013 that she had a same-sex affair with Clare Munn, her former lover. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28 in 2015).
